Kraken runs three sections in parallel — a warm Depth muffle, a moving Waves modulator and a deep Space reverb — then finishes everything with analog console glue. Perfect for dreamy vocal FX, lo‑fi beats, ambient pads, transitions, risers, whispered breaks, cinematic underwater scenes and creative sound design.

💧 Depth — the master muffle

The big centre dial is the heart of Kraken: an analog‑voiced low‑pass filter that sweeps from wide‑open brightness all the way down to a thick, submerged rumble.

• Depth (0–100%) — how far underwater you go, from ~14 kHz open to ~20 Hz fully drowned.
• Resonance — adds emphasis and bite at the filter’s edge.
• Slope — filter steepness: 12, 24 or 48 dB/oct.
• LFO Shape — Sine, Triangle, Saw, Square or Random movement.
• LFO Rate — speed of the underwater sway.
• LFO Depth — how far the filter drifts brighter⇄darker, for that living “water” motion.

🌊 Waves — pulsing motion

A parallel resonant band that pulses in and out like swells and boats passing overhead — rhythmic, tonal movement layered under your sound.

• Mode — voices the pulse: Deep (50 Hz), Low (150 Hz), Medium (350 Hz) or Light (600 Hz).
• Rate — how fast the swells come and go.
• Depth — pulse intensity, from silent swells up to full level.
• Feedback — resonant regeneration that makes the band ring and sing.
• Spread — stereo width of the movement, from centred to wide.

🏛️ Space — deep, lush reverb

A rich, bit‑accurate recreation of a legendary 1970s hall reverb — the “deep” in deep underwater.

• Reverb Mode — tail length in six steps: Short 2s · Standard 4s · Medium 6s · Long 8s · Deep 12s · Extra Long 16s.
• Pre‑Delay — space before the reverb blooms (0–250 ms).
• Damp — high‑frequency absorption for a darker or airier tail.
• Tone — overall brightness of the reverb, from −100% (dark & muffled) to +100% (open).
• Wet — how much reverb sits under the sound.

🎚️ Global controls

• Input / Output — trim levels in and out (±24 dB).
• Mix — blend dry and processed, from subtle to fully underwater.
• On/Off — click‑free bypass that reveals the live reverb tail instead of cutting out.
